CySEC has issued a new Form, FPISA-CIF for the collection of data on the Cyprus Investment Firms (CIFs)’ cross border activity, on 28 September 2020.
The collection of information on the CIFs’ cross border activity covered the period 01/01/2019 – 31/12/2019 and the form was to be completed and submitted to CySEC by October 16, 2020, by all CIFs by all CIFs that were authorised by December 31, 2019.
CySEC emphasised the importance of meeting above deadline and stressed that NO extension was to be granted. Failure to promptly and duly comply with the above would bear the administrative penalties of section 37(5) of the CySEC Law.
